My name is Sven, a German, born in 1976, living since 8 years on Gran Canaria. Before i decided to change this blog into a Photoblog i wrote many stories about my life here. I love investigating the wonderful islands here and i love to make photos. So the idea is showing fans of the islands my photos made from lots of trips , telling small stories and show you where to find the places where i shot the photos which mostly you will not find in any tourist guide...

I´m not a professional Photographer

Even though i would like to work for National Geographic ;-) , making photos is just a hobby for me. My hardware is an Iphone 3GS, a Sony Cybershot DSC-P200 and a Canon EOS 400D. I make the shots while i´m somewhere out in the world, relaxing in the nature and exploring new parts of the canary islands with my dog "Gara", a Pastor Garafiano. This page is just to share my photos with you. Hope you enjoy!
